I started painting in 1998 after receiving a
thoughtful gift
of
paints, brushes, canvases, and lessons.
I was
born
in
Seymour Victoria and grew
up in
Brisbane Queensland. |
 |
I enjoy painting any subjects, from detailed structures to soft flowers

I've finished over 300 paintings that are now scattered all over the world
Here are some favourites:

All my paintings from the latest to the very first, can be seen in my online gallery
For many years I enjoyed weekly lessons with respected artist Pir Tareen.
Pir has
paintings exhibited all over the world including the Vatican in Rome.

Bowen Bridge Heritage Track Sculpture
"In 2001, the Men of the Trees established the Bowen Bridge Heritage Track to compliment the natural setting and add a local distinctiveness to the Breakfast Creek area. " |
It was great to be invited to become part of this project for the Gondwana plaque - this was my first attempt at sculpturing anything! Many of the sculptures are amazing, and my simple koala is honoured to be in such company. It's well worth finding the time to visit and stroll through this living trail of art.

Peoplescape
In November 2001, the Centenery of Federation was celebrated with
thousands of life-size figures representing ordinary
Australians, covering the lawns
of Federation Mall and the slopes of Parliament House in Canberra.
My nomination for our father was accepted resulting in a family tree using black and white photos and oils. There were so many incredible figures created and it was a great experience being part of this huge celebration.
